The Eastern Lincoln Historical Society meets on the second Monday of each month for a program on local or national history. Meetings are free and open to the public. We serve light refreshments.
Programs scheduled for 2024 include:
- Field trip to Woodside plantation. Built in the late 1700’s Woodside is on the National Historic Register.
- Al Kirby portrayal of life as a soldier in World War II.
- Local historian Tanner Howard on Old Denver.
- Beth Yarborough on Jean Lafitte in Lincoln County
- Hart Square: Log Cabin Museum
